From Gambling911.com - Miss Universe Ratings Down: Betting Up

Most bet on event of the summer. Let me just repeat that, the Miss Universe pageant was the most bet on event of the summer. And when you think about it, why not? Root for some hottie who’s at 30/1 and score points with your lady at the same time (”No hunny, it’s ok, we don’t have to watch the game. If you want to watch Miss Universe, we’ll watch Miss Universe. What my baby wants, my baby gets.”) Works for me.

From GamblingPress.com - RotoPlay Sues Sportingbet for Stealing Lottery Ideas

Quote from RotoPlay’s President: “What is most puzzling to us is that Sportingbet decided to steal the games even after talking with us for months about licensing our games and using them legally.” I don’t see what’s so puzzling. You really didn’t see that coming?

From PointSpread.com - Favre Saga Affecting NFL Future Bets

Because you know you couldn’t have gone on living without knowing how the Favre situation will impact NFL futures bets. Also, what a weird world we live in when Brett Favre is on Greta Van Susteren talking about how the Green Bay Packers mistreated him. I mean isn’t this guy supposed to be like the toughest dude around? The rugged gunslinger (meanwhile, he was hooked on pain meds and basically closed his eyes and threw the ball as far as he could on every play for, oh, about the last five years before his somewhat flooky 2007 season. But, whatever). Now he’s whining about this and that on cable news. Really buddy?  I hate all of this, but I do want to see how Peter King is going to defend him.
